Butterflies Mentorship
Program

The Butterflies Mentoring Program is offered during the school year with weekly mentoring and leadership development programs. This program is offered to girls from ages 11 to 17 (middle school to high school). 

Sessions are held every Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION.

Butterflies Life Skills Session:

8-Week Life Skills Journey

​

Butterflies group meets once per week for 2 hours at IBI. Program curriculum and activities for Butterflies focuses on areas including self-image/esteem, leadership, good decision making, goals, and healthy relationships. This program is designed to build life-long relationships, sisterhood and long-term results. The purpose of the Butterflies Mentor Program is to:

• Teach girls to respect themselves and others.

•  Promote community service. 

•  Build self-esteem while creating a sense of sisterhood.

•  Offer activities that are exciting and educational.

•  Create an environment where girls can be themselves and talk freely.

•  Offer weekly activities that build leadership while lending a listening ear.

•  Build character and confidence under the guidance of caring adult mentors.

•  Encourage girls to identify their God-given talents.

The program is open to ALL GIRLS regardless of race or socio-economic background. 

​
